WHAT'S ALL THIS ABOUT?
Back in October ’22 we approached Jez from INATT about doing something for Men’s mental Health in Movember, but in true Smokey Uppercuts fashion we didn’t want to just grow our hair for a month, we decided to go for a FULL YEAR!
We fully appreciate what the INATT crew do around the region and wanted give back by inviting them to host a men’s mental health night at the yard in 2023 to auction off the hair cutting and some other bits and pieces.
This gave us a lot of time to think up something that would really make an impact and bring as much attention to mental health as we can, so stepping out of Mr Smokey Uppercuts comfort zone we went and made a dudeoir calendar! 😂
Most of us have been affected 1 way or another by mental health issues, and we think this is a great & fun way to help show people that there is help out there and we all need someone to chat to every now and then.
We have made a limited run of these calendars for $20 with free postage Australia wide, with all profits going directly to INATT to help them keep doing what they do!
We had an absolute ball working with Tickled Ink & Earthwalk Photography to bring this idea to life, after we were inspired by one of her shoots!
